Describe your service here. What makes it great? Use short catchy text to tell people what you offer, and the benefits they will receive. A great description gets readers in the mood, and makes them more likely to go ahead and book.

Massage Policies
Inappropriate Behavior
Cancellations
Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a cancellation fee equal to the scheduled services. We require a credit card to hold your appointment and charge cancellation fees to your card on file.
Sickness
If you are sick (coughing, sneezing, fever, stuffy or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea,) you are expected to contact us immediately to reschedule. If you arrive at your appointment exhibiting any of these symptoms, we will cancel your session, and the cancellation fee will apply. Your therapist will provide the same courtesy.
Punctuality
You should arrive five to ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time to review and update your medical history and discuss your progress and goals for the session. If you will be late, inform your massage therapist immediately. We will provide the remainder of your scheduled service. If you are more than 15 minutes late without notifying your therapist, you forfeit your session, and the cancellation fee applies.
Inclusion
All parties will conduct themselves respectfully and treat everyone with courtesy and civility. Discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or class is grounds for terminating any professional relationship. In this circumstance, we will charge your card on file the full fee of your scheduled service.
Confidentiality
Any discussion between you and your massage therapist is confidential. Your therapist will never share any information about you with any organization or individual at any time without your written consent.
Medical History
It is necessary to inform your therapist of all medical conditions, injuries, and medications and keep them updated on any changes to your medical history. Your massage therapist will not be held liable for your failure to disclose pertinent information.
Scope of Practice
A massage therapist is not a medical provider and does not diagnose any disease or illness, prescribe medications, or perform spinal manipulations. All services are within the scope of practice defined by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.
About Your Session
How do I book an appointment?
For your first appointment, you can book online or over the phone. A credit card is required to secure your booking, and you will need to complete a medical history questionnaire and treatment consent form when prompted.
Returning clients can book online, over the phone, by text, or through social media.
What should I expect from my first appointment?
When you arrive for your appointment, we'll review your medical history, discuss your concerns, and identify your goals for the session. After we chat, I'll explain how to get on the table and step out of the room so you can get comfortable.
When the session is over, I will leave the room again for you to get dressed. Once you're ready, I'll take your payment for the session, book your next appointment, and recommend self-care techniques.
Do I have to be naked?
No. The most important part of a massage is your comfort. If being naked will make you uncomfortable, it's not necessary.
Some of my clients do undress fully. Some clients wear their underwear. I have clients who like to wear basketball shorts for their sessions, and sometimes nursing parents keep their bras on. I am flexible and can work around nearly anything.
Whether you choose to wear underwear, shorts, or undress fully, the only area exposed is the area currently receiving treatment.
What type of massage is right for me?
It depends on your needs. Luckily, you don't have to figure it out before booking your session. The price includes all treatment options.
During your medical history review and our assessment of your needs, I can guide you in deciding what techniques are best for you. This more personal approach allows for the best results for every client.
Does massage therapy hurt?
Sometimes massage can be uncomfortable, especially trigger point therapy. There is a difference, though, between that hurts so good and ouch, stop it. A good massage, even a deep tissue massage, should always stay in the hurts so good range.
If something I do is painful, please tell me immediately. Pain can indicate an injury or inflammation, and it can cause you to tighten up, making your body fight against the massage. The most effective and deepest massage always works with your body, not against it.
However, deep tissue and trigger point therapy can make you a little sore for a day or two after your massage. This soreness might feel like the effect of an intense workout or feel sensitive to pressure. After a massage, you should rest, hydrate, and apply heat to any sore areas.
When shouldn't I get a massage?
If you are sick, reschedule. View our policies for more information.
If you have blood clots, kidney or liver conditions, uncontrolled hypertension, or are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, you should check with your health care provider before scheduling a massage.
You should seek a massage therapist specially trained in oncology massage if you have cancer.
If you have a recent injury (broken bones, bruising, sprains, strains, or inflammation,) massage should not be performed on those areas. Be sure to inform your therapist of any recent injury.
Do we have to listen to weird meditation music?
Nope. I have Amazon Music, Audible, and Google Podcasts. We can listen to whatever makes you happy.
Do we talk during the massage?
That's entirely up to you. I will always follow your lead. If you start a conversation, I'll happily chat with you. If you stay quiet, I will too.
Covid-19 Procedures
Are you vaccinated against COVID-19?
Yes, I am fully vaccinated and received my most recent booster on March 18, 2022. I can provide proof of vaccination upon request.
I do not require my clients to be vaccinated.
Are masks required?
I don't wear a mask in my office. I am fully vaccinated, and I see less than five clients a day, making my office low-risk. I do not require my clients to wear a mask.
However, if you are high-risk and would prefer I wear a mask for your appointment, I will gladly do so.
Exposure to COVID-19.
If exposed to COVID-19 within five days of your scheduled appointment, you should reschedule immediately.
If your appointment is scheduled more than five days after exposure, and you've had a negative COVID-19 test after the five-day mark, you can keep your scheduled appointment.
