Massage Techniques

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure to address a specific problem area and surrounding muscle to achieve a desired outcome. It usually focuses on deep layers of muscle and is used to treat chronic pain, repetitive use injuries, and trigger points.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is a massage technique that applies direct pressure to a contracted portion of muscle (commonly known as a knot) for 30-90 seconds. This sends signals through the nervous system that release endorphins and relieve pain.

Relaxation Massage

A relaxation massage uses slow and gentle movements to deactivate your stress response by interrupting stress signals to your brain. It's an excellent way to manage chronic stress and is a beneficial addition to any health and wellness routine.
